Josh LeVine, President, LEED AP ID+C
As President of LeVine Construction Group LLC, Josh LeVine utilizes his years of project management experience and knowledge of the construction field and industry to deliver superior service to his clients. LCG prides itself on our longstanding relationships with the local subcontracting market, expertise in the design build process, and proficiency in subcontractor management, scheduling, and financial administration, which makes our work flow smoothly and on schedule.
The seeds of LeVine Construction Group were planted when Josh began working for his father’s custom millwork shop at 12 years old. As an apprentice to a professional perfectionist, Josh worked for his father designing and building custom residential cabinetry for bedroom, home office, and entertainment spaces. His interest in designing and building living spaces continued through high school, where he took architecture courses and focused on extracurricular home design projects. In college, Josh studied architecture and business management at the University of Miami.
After graduating, Josh returned to the area and worked as a Project Manager for a small general contracting firm in Washington, D.C., with projecting ranging from $20K to $1 million. Josh then joined national general contractor Coakley Williams Construction to expand his project management skills in larger base building projects. Josh consecutively started LeVine Construction Group Limited, the earliest phase of what LCG is today. LCG Limited began as a handyman service firm, but quickly grew into a residential construction firm specializing in kitchen, basement, living space and addition design, construction and remodeling.
Josh and LCG Limited’s interiors performance rapidly gained notice, and he was hired by rand* construction corporation, a commercial tenant interiors firm, where he worked for eight years. Josh quickly advanced to a Senior Project Manager, overseeing many large-scale, complex commercial interior project operations. His expertise and skills led him into a Managing Director role, where he managed projects at an executive level, partnered with clients, and trained employees. Josh helped in growing the company from a $150M firm into a national commercial contractor with annual revenues of over $300M.
In recent years, Josh noticed a gaping hole in the local residential construction market in the DMV. He often heard friends, family, and acquaintances talk about their remodeling projects taking too long and going over budget. In most cases, the root cause was poor communication by their general contractor/architect. Josh knew what it takes to make the design build process simple, efficient, and enjoyable for clients. This motivated Josh to go out on his own with LeVine Construction Group, LLC. LCG’s dedication to collaborating, communicating, and delivering on projects of all sizes and scope makes the firm an ideal choice for your design build needs.
